Smart fitting rooms: AdvanFitting TM
AdvanFitting is an RFID-based system specially designed for fitting rooms at retail stores.
AdvanFitting uses RFID technology and a touch screen to improve the customer shopping experience at retail stores.
AdvanFitting detects the garments with RFID tags taken by customers into each fitting room. This information can be used to interact with the customer through a touch screen, allowing the customer to ask for another size or color without leaving the fitting room, and by recommending complementary products for cross-selling purposes.
As a result, AdvanFitting increases the conversion rates at fitting rooms, and increases the sales of the retailer.
The content and the user interface of AdvanFitting can be remotely updated very easily by means of the AdvanCloud cloud based software.
AdvanFitting comprises master units and slave units. Up to 3 slave units can be connected to each master unit. Therefore, four fitting rooms can be monitored by using one master and three slaves.
Thanks to its high directivity, each AdvanFitting unit (either master or slave) detects the RFID tags located at its corresponding fitting room, while minimizing the detection of products located in neighboring fitting rooms or in areas nearby.
AdvanFitting also includes software algorithms for minimizing cross-reads.
By painting the fitting rooms with AdvanPaint, cross-reads are practically eliminated.
