Keonn is leading a project for improving the shopping experience of the visually impaired and mobility impaired at retail stores  

This project has the financial support of the Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo of Spain. The participants of this project are Keonn, UPF (University Pompeu Fabra) and GS1 Spain (AECOC). 

The Detecom Project (Desarrollo de Tecnologías para la Compra Adaptada y Accesible) aims to develop systems that combine RFID technology with augmented reality in order to allow the visually impaired and mobility impaired to shop at a retail store with no assistance.

This project started on 2011 and will end on December 2013.
