Space-wide real time inventory: AdvanTrack TM

AdvanTrackTM is a RFID-based system that provides inventory in real time of all tagged items located in a given space. Examples of such spaces are retail stores, small warehouses, hospital areas, etc.
AdvanTrackTM also supplies the approximate location of each tagged item in real time.
AdvanTrackTM comprises a set of overhead antennas, spaced approximately 1.5 m x 1.5 m, connected to RFID multiplexers, which are in turn connected to RFID readers.
Each antenna covers an area of approximately 3 metres diameter, and detects the tags located under its area of interrogation. The antennas are usually sequentially activated, obtaining the identification and position of each tagged item every few seconds
Business benefits of AdvanTrackTM :
- Reduction of out-of-stocks and misplaced items
- Fast location of products
- Persistent inventory
- Shrinkage reduction
